The very organic lamp shades that you made, published on a Ceramics Monthly, are very impresive. Every so often i like to check up on a few artist with interesting work and you are one. Hello Grace,

Peter brought me your brochure, devastatus rememorari. I remember a very enjoyable walk through Pleasant Park a few years ago. It is hard to imagine the destruction. Your memorial made me feel very sad. As the daughter of a forester, I am always sad when trees are destroyed. The brochure gives no indication of the scale of the sculpture so I was astonished at how big it is when I looked at the photo on your website of you working on it.

Congratulations guys!

It looks like you are representing our country well and you are having an amazing cultural experience at the same time. Good luck with the opening of the museum. I'm sure that you will be both exhausted and exhilarated by the time you get home. The project will stay with you for the rest of your lives. Cultural interaction builds enormous understanding, and this one leaves a mark that will touch so many people for years to come. Travel home safely.
