Museum purchases prizewinning piece
Update: the Taipei County Yingge Ceramics Museum has announced that it will purchase Column with Bowl No. 2 for its permanent collection.
I’m pleased to announce that I have won a Judges Special Award in the prestigious Sixth Taiwan Golden Ceramics Awards competition. Chosen from nearly 800 international entries, my piece, Column with Bowl No. 2, was exhibited at the Taipei County Yingge Ceramics Museum from November 27, 2000, until February 11, 2001.
This is my third time showing in Taiwan. In 1992 The National Museum of History in Taipei purchased a piece from my Moth Series for its collection.
