I am happy to announce that I’ve been invited to sit on the board of the Manitoba Craft Council. With preparations beginning for the Canadian Craft Federation’s Craft Year 2015, I’m excited about the engaging and challenging programming planned across Canada. I’m looking forward to playing a role in defining and organizing the events taking place in Manitoba, which will focus on current ceramic art practice and theory. As a professor of ceramics at the University of Manitoba, I look forward to serving as the liason between the Manitoba Craft Council and the U of M School of Art.
I will attend my first meeting as a board member of the Manitoba Craft Council in April. See my gallery page on the Manitoba Craft Council website for more information on me and my work.
