The armatures for the columns I made in China have been completed and the works photographed. Here are a number of images taken by Michael Zajac. All the forms are made of the superwhite Jingdezhen porcelain, with bases that went through the PVD (physical vapour deposition) process. They were created at the Pottery Workshop with the assistance of master mould-makers and slip-casters and are prototypes for larger and more ambitious works to come.
