I just received a copy of Rosette Gault’s new beautiful book on paperclay. My work appears in the section called “Paperclay and glass”, on page 134. One of my wall sconces, made for a commission for a cabin on the Lake of the Woods, Ontario, is illustrated with the caption “Grace Nickel was one of the first artists to use paper clay as a frame for slumped glass for her elegant wall sconces….”

The book was published by Bloomsbury Press, London, UK in 2013 and simultaneously by the University of Pennsylvania Press in Philadelphia, US, ISBN: 978-0812222418.

I am grateful to Rosette for her all her hard work and unflagging dedication to this enduring medium. Congratulations Rosette and thank you!

Purchase the book at Amazon.
