Grace Nickel’s exhibition, Devastatus Rememorari, currently showing at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, has been extended until July 17, 2016. “This show is a ceramic tribute to the awesome, random forces of nature and man’s attempts to understand and control the resulting chaos.” A tribute to Point Pleasant Park, a vast urban reserve in Halifax which was ravaged by Hurricane Juan in 2003, Devastatus Rememorari is now in the permanent collection of the AGNS and was recently deemed a certified cultural property of Canada.
