Homecoming celebration at Plum Fest in Plum Coulee, Manitoba on August 17, 2024 in honour of my Governor General’s Saidye Bronfman Award. Saidye Bronfman herself was born in Plum Coulee and grew up in this rural community, as did I. It’s an honour to celebrate this shared history and her generous support of the fine crafts in Canada. Thank you to the Plum Coulee Elevator Museum for hosting my exhibition Grace Nickel Full Circle: Saidye Bronfman Award. And a special thank you to Curator/Chair Linda Dyck at the Plum Coulee Elevator Museum.
