Winnipeg Arts Council Making a Mark Award 2026

On June 2, 2026 a ceremony was held in honour of the winners of the Winnipeg Arts Council Awards. I’m pleased to announce that I received the Making a Mark Award, which celebrates longtime dedication to outstanding artistic practice and career achievement. The awards ceremony took place at the Convention Centre in downtown Winnipeg with Mayor Scott Gillingham officiating. A huge thank you to the Manitoba Craft Council for nominating me for this prestigious award, to the Winnipeg Arts Council for the recognition and support, and to Gail Asper for generously sponsoring the Making a Mark Award. It is truly an honour to be recognized in this meaningful way by the Winnipeg community.
